Figure | F.03

Product Launch

Figure | F.03

Following our successful collaboration with Figure AI last year on the F.02 launch, we were thrilled to reunite with the team to unveil their latest breakthrough: the F.03 humanoid robot.

In just one year, Figure has completely re-engineered their humanoid platform from the ground up. The F.03 shares no components with its predecessor, representing a significant leap forward in both design sophistication and technical capability. It stands today as one of the most advanced and beautifully designed humanoid robots in the world.

A Giant Leap for Humanoid Design

F.03 is a study in engineering elegance. Its silhouette is leaner, more refined, and built for large-scale production, with custom 3D knit surfaces that serve both an aesthetic and a safety function. Beyond its refined appearance, the F.03 moves with enhanced fluidity and expanded degrees of dexterity, powered by Figure's proprietary Helix AI. This system is trained specifically to handle complex tasks within home environments.

Beyond the Machine

Each collaboration with Figure presents an opportunity to build on what came before: to help expand and refine the visual language of the brand while getting people genuinely excited about what Figure is building. To properly capture this evolution, our team visited Figure's headquarters to study the new design in depth. This immersive research informed every detail—from the precise knit surface behavior to the articulation of internal mechanisms.

What immediately struck us was the human-centric approach behind every decision. The robot's soft textile outer layer and foam-wrapped body components aren't just safety features; they give the F.03 a more approachable, almost friendly presence. It's a deliberate move away from the cold, mechanical aesthetic typically associated with robotics.

Weaving concept into form

For the F.03 launch film, a key creative challenge was bringing the textile and fabric story to life in a way that felt both technically impressive and emotionally resonant. We developed custom Houdini weaving simulations that showcase the 3D knit in motion, treating the fabric as a second skin that's integral to the robot's identity.

Throughout the project, we maintained our commitment to staying grounded in reality and realism. No sci-fi tropes or visual magic tricks. Everything you see in the teaser is 100% product accurate and true to life, allowing the innovation to speak for itself.
