You enjoy working in a creative environment and ideally have experience supporting a team of 3D and 2D VFX Artists, Animators, Producers, and Admin staff. You’re able to work independently and cooperatively, using your problem-solving skills to tackle a variety of technical issues for your team. This role is filled by someone who is enthusiastic about the technology used to create beautiful images—someone who wants to be part of a team that brings those images to life using cutting-edge tools and techniques.

The Opportunity

  • Assist our Sr. Systems Administrator in the maintenance of all IT systems, including workstations, servers, shared storage, and networks
  • Monitor machine status, ensuring systems are functional and available
  • Monitor project and server storage levels, alerting IT when thresholds are reached
  • Monitor and respond to ticketing system
  • Perform desk setups, desk moves, and cabling cleanup
  • Provision, reset, and test new and used workstations and laptops
  • Perform monitor calibration and color-space configuration
  • Assist with hardware upgrades and replacements
  • Provision and manage user accounts, passwords, and MFA methods
  • Troubleshoot login issues and understand basic 2FA/MFA tools
  • Deploy and configure basic render farm hardware
  • Install, update, and license software for both artist and admin teams
  • Provide support for A/V studio requests and other workspace needs
  • Help senior IT staff with ongoing tasks and infrastructure projects
  • Maintain hardware and software inventories and documentation

Compensation

$55,000-$65,000 annual salary
